This proud aspen tree was captured at an artist retreat at my good friend, artist and colleague, Anna Montgomery’s Home outside of Conifer, Co in 2008. This is one still image from a series of images taken for a time lapse that I did that weekend.
This summer, my partner, a friend and I took a weekend camping trip to get away from the city for a few days. As I was working with our friend on using her new camera, we came across this scene near our campsite. The photo was taken in the late afternoon on Boreas Pass in Colorado. I truly feel blessed to live in such a beautiful state!
This piece is inspired by my little brother Josh. I took this photo last night of 9th Street on Auraria Campus. This street houses many of the campus organizations such as the Metro Alumni Association. I’ve been looking into doing some High Dynamic Range photographs and this is my first go at it.
The platte river valley in Denver, Co has become a real focal point of the city’s urban renewal efforts. Riverfront park has become an oasis of urban green lands juxtaposed with stunning city scapes. The area boasts trendy coffee shops, restaurants, museums and arts groups. It’s access is unmatched with light rail, buses and bike paths centralized between lower downtown and the platte river valley.
